Busy Day!

6 month dental check up :)

No cavities! (Still has not lost ONE tooth yet, she's almost 8! Clearly her teeth are quite cozy where they are!)

We told Miles that he would get a turn in the chair at the next visit
he was quite intrigued

We went to my parent's house this afternoon, my dad was cutting the grass.
Naturally the kids wanted a ride!

Porch revamp

I love simple "no cost" projects! Today I took out our porch screens. They looked really nice; since hubby had redone them and put white trim on to spruce them up...but I am amping up curb appeal and taking them out just opened up the whole awesome porch on the front of the house!! :)

I had already started taking the screens out before I thought to take a "before" picture, so here's "half" the porch!

I am trying to talk hubby into removing the door. He's not liking that idea : /

screens will be moving to the basement...I absolutely LOVE how open it feels to look out the windows and see "open air" instead of privacy screens!

My Appearance on TLC's "What the Sell?!"

Can I tell you how wild it is to see yourself acting on TV?! My kids got a kick out of it too! :) They were screaming and yelling when I came on. What fun!

I set out today to get pictures of a robin pulling a worm from the ground. I saw it happen the other day and thought it would be such a cool photo op. I dropped Miles at his PMO program and headed to the park across the street. I had no luck! There were robins, but none seemed to be "hunting" for food. Soooooooo, I settled on taking other pics :)

and, I did a little window shopping too :)

Happy Easter!

Egg hunt at my parents house yesterday

Beautiful day before Easter

Today was beautiful, 60's and sunny! We went to my parents house to do an egg hunt (I took lot's of pics, but I will share them tomorrow with the rest of our Easter pics!) came home with my niece and the kids played outside alllllllllllllll day! We put off egg dyeing till the last minute and I used my creativity to come up with a new process for "coloring" :) I pulled out the markers and we all went to town decorating!! It was quick & easy, it was fun and it was a lot less messy!! I may use this method again in the future!
